When starting a new topic:
_Pick a topic and make sure it meets the following criteria: informative, useful, and not offensive to anyone.
_Use search function to make sure there are no recent topics about what you are posting.
_Make sure you have chosen the section of the forums that most closely matches what your topic is to be about.
_Type your topic paying attention to how clear your point is, and have at least readable grammar (No need to be a grammar nazi).
_When finished typing, READ IT OVER. If you don't, what you typed may not make sense to everyone else.
_Does it follow all of the rules of the forums?
_Preview it to make sure that all of your links are working and that the pictures show up.

When posting a reply:
_Type reply, making sure it fulfills the following criteria: it sticks to the subject at hand, will not provoke flaming or spam, is funny/informative/helpful.
_Is it spam or flaming? If it is, don't post it.
_Make sure that what you typed is introducing a new aspect to the conversation, and not just restating what has been said before.
_Have it be more than one sentence, it is most likely not productive if it is only a few words.
_Does it follow all of the rules of the forums?
_Preview to make sure photos and links work, read it over.

Dos and Don'ts of posting on the forums:
Do help others if they need it.
Do use the search function.

Do be kind to all members of the forum community.
Don't flame or spam.
Don't provoke people to flame or spam.
Don't use more than 3 emoticons. (It makes your posts look cluttered.)
Don't use more than 3 exclamation points in a row. (You can't possibly be THAT excited.)
